Vinegar For Swimmers Ear
A number of natural health practitioners suggest vinegar in various forms as a home remedy or preventive measure or
swimmers ear. Here are a couple of possibilities.
Apple cider vinegar and swimmers ear There's reason to believe this helps restore
the PH balance in the ear. Some people suggest combining it with a few drops of rubbing alcohol, but others say the
alcohol stings too much and they simply use water. You can also do this as a preventive measure against future
cases of swimmer's ear.
Regular distilled white vinegar can be used as a remedy where swimmer's ear is
already in progress. Use 2-3 drops of full strength white vinegar every two hours .
Another remedy you might try is a 1 to 1 mixture of vinegar and warm
water. Put four drops in the ear three times a day for three days.
With all of these remedies, you can use a clean eyedropper bottle, tilt your head and pull your earlobe to get
the mixture into the ear canal.

antibiotics. But it appears vinegar has some value in swimmer's ear relief, assuming you use it with
